Reduce your personal State of Ohio tax liability by contributing to the Eagle Ohio Tax Credit Fund. The State of Ohio has recently passed an initiative that can benefit St. Edward High School and our students. You can contribute to the Eagle Ohio Tax Credit Fund and receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit of up to $750 annually (or $1,500 if "Married Filing Jointly").
1. Determine Your Tax Liability
To estimate how much you’ll owe the state in taxes for 2023, review line 8C on the 1040 form you filed for 2022.
2. Make Your Contribution
It ultimately costs you nothing! St. Edward’s Scholarship Granting Organization is called the Eagle Ohio Tax Credit Fund.
3. Claim Your Ohio Tax Credit
If your 2023 state taxes are equal to or greater than your contribution to the Eagle Ohio Fund, you will receive a dollar-for-dollar refund up to $750! For married couples filing jointly, the maximum refund increases to $1,500.
